Project Overview: When Locale opened its doors in Oceanport, NJ, the operators envisioned a modern, high-performance kitchen and bar that could keep pace with their innovative menu and upscale atmosphere. To achieve this, they partnered with Gentry Foodservice Design Group and QSR Supply, who delivered a full design-to-service solution—covering layout, equipment, delivery, installation, and long-term support.
Scope of Work
Foodservice Design: Gentry created an efficient kitchen and bar layout that supports high-volume service without sacrificing comfort or workflow. The design balanced back-of-house efficiency with a front-of-house aesthetic that complements Locale’s guest experience.
Equipment Specification & Procurement: QSR Supply sourced a complete package of cooking equipment, refrigeration, beverage systems, and prep stations—focusing on reliability, energy efficiency, and the ability to handle peak demand.
Delivery & Installation: The QSR team coordinated delivery schedules with construction milestones, staged equipment, and performed full installation including set-in-place, utility connections, startup, and performance testing.
Service & Support: Post-opening, QSR Supply continues to provide warranty coordination, planned maintenance, and responsive service, ensuring equipment uptime and consistent operations.
Key Project Highlights Optimized Workflow: Shortened staff travel paths for faster ticket times during rush periods.
Bar Efficiency: Underbar refrigeration, speed rails, and glass washing stations placed for seamless bartender operations.
