Project Overview: La Mondina, an Italian-inspired restaurant in Brielle, NJ, partnered with Gentry Foodservice Design Group and QSR Supply to develop a foodservice operation that matches its elevated dining experience. From the earliest design stages through equipment selection, delivery, installation, and ongoing service, the team delivered a complete solution that supports both the culinary vision and day-to-day efficiency.
Scope of Work
Foodservice Design: Gentry designed a kitchen and bar layout that emphasizes flow, ergonomics, and production speed, while maintaining the flexibility needed for a diverse, chef-driven menu. The design also considered front-of-house integration, ensuring a smooth connection between service and guest experience.
Equipment Specification & Procurement: QSR Supply provided a full package of commercial equipment—cooking, refrigeration, prep, and warewashing—selected for performance, durability, and ease of maintenance.
Delivery & Installation: The project team coordinated logistics, staged deliveries, and executed installation including set-in-place, utility hookups, startup, and performance checks, ensuring seamless readiness for opening.
Service & Support: Post-opening, QSR Supply continues to support La Mondina with warranty coordination, preventive maintenance, and responsive service calls—ensuring equipment remains reliable and downtime is minimized.
